Built so coaches can spend their time coaching.
RaiNGE drafts training programs from each athlete's goals, equipment, injuries, and readiness, then hands them to a coach to edit and approve. We're building it in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and it's in private beta with a small group of coaches.
Why RaiNGE exists.
A good coach can write a good program. What eats the week is everything after that: readiness drops, a knee flares up, someone travels with two dumbbells, a session gets missed. Each change means pulling the athlete's context back together before anything can move, and that work multiplies with every name on the roster.
A lot of AI workout tools answer that by writing the whole plan and sending it straight to the client. We think that leaves out the person who knows the athlete best.
RaiNGE keeps the coach in the middle. It brings the athlete's context into one place, drafts the change, shows the coach why, and waits for a decision.
How we build it.
Five rules the product follows, each one visible in how RaiNGE works today.
- 1
The coach makes the call
A draft stays unassigned until a coach assigns it, and assignment is blocked while serious review notes are still open. The AI can suggest; it can't send.
- 2
Rules run before and after the model
Fixed safety rules filter the exercises the AI can choose from and check the program it returns. For example, a low-back note removes deadlift and RDL variants from the options before drafting starts.
- 3
One exercise library, one name per movement
Every exercise the AI writes is matched to RaiNGE's canonical exercise library, so the same movement keeps the same name across every coach's drafts.
- 4
Show the reasoning
Adjustments on the coach dashboard say why RaiNGE proposed them, and every exercise in a draft carries a short coaching note. A coach should be able to check the work without guessing what the AI was thinking.
- 5
Stay out of medicine
RaiNGE doesn't diagnose or make return-to-play calls. When an athlete or client reports pain above 7/10, their coach is flagged, with professional evaluation recommended.
How we write our coaching guides.
Our guides are written by the RaiNGE product team for coaches who program for real people. Every guide answers one question first, then shows the working: tables, worked examples, and the rules we would use ourselves.
Pain and readiness advice follows one set of published bands across every guide, explained in the pain-score guide. Where a recommendation depends on research, the guide links the study.
When a guide mentions RaiNGE, it describes only what the software does today. The updated date changes only when the content does. If you spot an error, email info@rainge.io.
